Day 03

Part two

Miina's day of school was short today.  She was able to hang out with some friends at school before returning home around 1:45pm.  When she arrived, Masami and I were already eating our lunch.  Masami made some koroke (fried, breaded potatoes), salad, and bread-- she made the bread.  IT WAS THE BEST BREAD EVER.  She sliced it into rather large pieces, but Miina and I ended up consuming 1 & 1/2 slices of it.  It was super fluffy and fresh from being baked.  We all consumed them different.  Masami had hers with butter, Miina had one plain and the half with strawberry jam.  I used both butter and jam~!

The sauce for the koroke was tonkatsu sauce.  It's probably closest to... America's A1 sauce.  Very flavorful, which was the opposite of the salad dressing.  A light olive oil based dressing with garlic, salt, black pepper, and other simple seasonings.

When Masami and I last went to the grocery store, I bought myself some Fanta Grape and Natchan Apple!  I'm sure that when my little sister sees this, she'll be drooling.  She loves Natchan-- I had it with my lunch <3  Gomen~! (^ v ^;)

Miina played some Skyward Sword after lunch-- she told me before playing it that she really liked the series, but was bad at it.  --She wasn't kidding either.  I heard Link's cry from falling to his death too many times.  Poor Link...

Around diner time, all three of them where having me do Naruto doodles.  "Who's your favorite character?"  "Draw my favorite!"  "Do you know this character?"  "Who has the dog?"  Needless to say, I was busy but happily entertained.  They were very excited when I drew Lee.  "HE'S SO FUNNY! HE'S COOL!" Yes he is.

Pokemon was on tv~  Right after it was Naruto Shippuden.  Lucky!!  I was happy-- even if the episode of Naruto was boring.  Pokemon was more interesting though!! There was Meloetta in it and a shiny Onix!  Miriya didn't believe me when I said that Meloetta had different forms... and then she transformed into her fighting type.  Dohoho~

Tonight's dinner menu was selected by yours truly!!  Masami wasn't sure what to make and I thought that since we have shrimp, why not make a Shrimp Cream Pasta dish?  After digging through some recipes, we found one that was simple and easy to make.  Miina, my aunt, and I ran to the local super market to pick up some extra shrimp and pasta, along with a chunk of water melon for dessert.  Luckily for Masami and I, the kids all really liked it!  It was light with a buttery flavor~

We all took turns doodling in my sketchbook.  While Miina didn't make her own doodle page, she did manage to doodle something on everyone else's page.
(Miriya's = above, Miina's = lower left, Mireka = lower right).

Just before Miriya ran off to bed, he asked me to draw Link from the Legend of Zelda-- the game Miina was playing earlier.  He happily scrambled to his games to get picture references to use.  I managed to come up with a quick draw as I too was tired.  It made him smile when he woke up the next morning. <3
